I'd been wanting to make Kalua pork (you know the kind where they bury a whole pig in the ground with banana leaves, etc.) Now, I wasn't planning on digging a pit, and I didn't have any banana leaves...but thanks to SpiceWalla I now have the pink salt!
It made all the difference. The pork was tender, moist and beautifully seasoned thanks to the lovely Pink Salt.
I can hardly wait to use the other spices I ordered. Just the smell alone tells you how great these are going to be. So much better than your average supermarket stuff. It really does make a difference in the taste of your dishes. Highly recommend.
